Re: WWE signings and releases
kinda shocked about 3MB. I think they were finally getting suppourt from the fans. Then the wwe goes and ruins it. Evan Bourne might be a good editon to the X Division once his 90 days are done. Maybe he might go back to ROH as well?

Bourne/Sydal would be losing a lot of POTential money going to TNA..not only could he go to ROH/indies... he could probably work DragonGate in Japan and USA. If TNA can't pay Kaz, Sabin & Daniels.. how could they pay Sydal that kind of money?

Re: WWE signings and releases
I am convinced whobetta got JTG fired. WWE almost missed him again, but then somebody turned on our podcast...
As for everyone else...I'm kind of glad Bourne got cut, it was obvious WWE was never going to bring him back. As I've joked before, he's been gone so long if he re-debuted no one would remember him. It's a shame that a injury pretty much killed his career though, as he had some good momentum going before getting hurt. Look forward to seeing him in back DG or New Japan (same for you Yoshi).
The real shock, weirdly, is Drew and Jinder. 3MB are comedy jobbers, sure. But I thought they were entertaining, and were literally doing the best work of their career the past few weeks. And what is heath slater without Drew and Jinder?

i hope he can find a place to work, it would be nice to see him somewhere, and whoever picks him up may gain his followers (and us).

Re: WWE signings and releases
as for drew and jinder, unless they have replacements, they can't continue the torito-swoggle fued as well, which is a shame.

Re: WWE signings and releases
So many thoughts.
1) They hindered the fuck out of Jinder. Long live 3MB. I can't believe they fired Drew and Jinder after their two MOTYC on the last two PPV's.
2) Hawkins probably called Trent? and was like "plz get me on PWG"
3) Evan Bourne, poor guy not getting checks not to wrestle anymore. Hopefully he will be seen soon on the indies. Kind of forgot what he looked like.
4) JTG.....leave the memories alone. Seriously. What will we talk about on our show now?!?
5) Zack Ryder be like "What does a guy gotta do to get fired?"

Swarley two weeks ago on talkIMPACTradio- "Drew wrestles midgets and does flips now, so basically doing the best work of his career."
A real shame. Pour one out.

I don't believe it. It must be a hoax. There is no way WWE remembered they employed JTG.

Someone in accounting must have discovered that they were actually still paying JTG and brought it to Triple H's attention.

Re: WWE signings and releases
The two 3MB releases are definitely the most shocking, considering that McIntyre & Mahal were on TV regularly and were a huge reason why the El Torito-Hornswoggle matches were so entertaining. McIntyre could really benefit from this though and reinvent himself in the indies or abroad. He is really diversifying his moveset with adding high-flying moves, and even expressed his desire to eventually attempt a Double Moonsault in a recent WWE.com article. There's always a good chance he can return to the WWE as well.
Camacho was also a surprise because he was being featured quite prominently in NXT recently in his feud with Adam Rose. I figured that he would simply be repackaged, as it made no sense for him to continue playing a Mexican cholo when he no longer teams with Hunico. Given that he's the some of Haku/Meng, he should have no issue getting booked.
Brodus Clay wasn't too much of a shock after his recent repackaging. His feud with Xavier Woods actually concluded on Superstars instead of TV, and then his recent run on NXT against Adrian Neville was just bad.
Bourne's WWE run was essentially done after his back-to-back drug suspensions. As odd as it sounds, the injury probably bought him some time on his contract, but it's probably for the best for him to go back on the indies.
Hawkins' release was expected but still disappointing. He's certainly one of the most underrated talents they had, and maybe with his connections to the major indy promotions, he can showcase a lot of the skills he didn't get much of a chance to as a career jobber in the WWE.

Yep. It airs internationally and on WWE Network. I think their Youtube Channel has matches from it also.

Re: WWE signings and releases
from f4wonline
Josh Lomberger aka Josh Matthews was released by WWE today.
Lomberger had been with the company as the last survivor of the original Tough Enough season. He tried out as a wrestler, but didn't make it, but garnered a good following from the season. He ended up being hired as an announcer in 2002 and had been with the company ever since.
