They're probably hoping that it helps generate buzz to get people to watch the episode on Thursday. I'm still wondering if Spike will actually show it, considering that they didn't want TNA utilizing male-on-female violence on their network anymore a few years ago.

I also want to backtrack real quick and put over Brian Cage as well. He's definitely a guy that TNA should definitely sign (and should have picked up back when he was on Gutcheck). That is, he would make an excellent addition to the roster if they weren't dealing with severe budget issues and facing the realization that they aren't going to have a TV deal in the next few months.

    watching the NYC episodes today.

Bobby Roode just did the worst "sharpshooter" of all time.

Other than that, better than the last time I watched TNA.

    He hit the sharpsooter.

    Spuds suit tonight is brilliant.

Do we know how much SNITSKY and Ezekiel costed them? Cuz that was pointless.

Bully has a new tattoo. It apparently doesn't suck so good for him.

King mo can't throw a work punch. Shoulda just clocked dreamer

They showed it. Dixie died. People went insane.

Homicide had a ruckus shirt on. End show.

Did this help anything except the last 15?

Bubba has been doing the glazed over eyes look since he did the power bombing women bit in WWF. They probably gave the heads out before/during the show.

I think they did an oprah thing with the heads, had then under seats and when the lights turned on they said " you geta head you geta head everybody gets a head "
I don't remember that far back when team 3d was in wwf.
Still this was second best show so far. des x was the first so far(I havent watched it lately since the mid season shows on nbc were on "undateable")

I've been DVRing Impact because why not and I finally finished Lashley vs Aries, real good match. They've done a good job building up Lashley as a legit guy winning all his matches by himself without interference.

Haven't watch really anything except clips on YT here and there, but Jim Ross, Pro Wrestling Report, and others have been saying it's the best over-all wrestling product on TV right now. I've heard comparisons to 2009 before Hogan, where they just focused on putting on a good, make-sense booking product.

I listen to Alvarez and Vinny V's reviews every week and its apparently a good TV show. But who has time to invest in TNA when they will be dead soon?

I haven't watched last night's episode yet, but the shows have been pretty good over the last few months, highlighted by those incredible set of tapings in New York over the summer.

The episodes from the Bethlehem tapings haven't been nearly as strong, but the main event segments have been quite good for every week thus far.

Personally, I've been liking the strong booking of Lashley as World Champion, the rise of Bram, the Wolves being highlighted in the tag team division, and EC3 establishing himself as a top heel.

TNA put their Best of the Turkey Bowl show that's running in international markets but not on Spike on their YouTube channel. It's honestly a hilarious stroll down memory lane if you have some extra time this weekend.

So TNA makes their debut on Destination America tonight with this live special, before moving to their regular Friday night timeslot starting next week.

Given that Roode and Lashley had some great matches over the past few months, so this should be just as good as those previous bouts.

Is anybody excited for this show? Does anybody else actually get the Destination America channel?

its on higher package for me, and for me to upgrade its not worth it,I'll catch it on youtube or what ever. yes if I upgrade I get more channels I got 300 now but I only watch about 5% of it.
I get my wrestling fix from watching it tuff-tv
tues-thurs at midnight CST they show Future stars of wrestling (las vegas promotion that has stars like the king of night kenny king and matt hardy plus others)
Saturdays they show classic traditional championship wrestling at 11:30am cst
and at 11pm CST they have nwa on fire showing all the old wrestling clips including the black and white clips

I get Destination America, but I can't see myself watching them on Fridays. Especially with New Japan starting next week on AXS. But I will DVR tonight.

I'll watch the New Japan shows on AXS TV as well, but it's not like it will be a first run show. It's matches from last year with new English commentary (although just about all New Japan footage is new to me).

I'll DVR both and watch them in a timely manner, just like I've been doing with SmackDown ever since they moved to Fridays.

I am oddly optimistic about the sort of reboot of TNA here. I know it isn't really a reboot, but I think we have at least taken a pause and now everything is starting back up. All of the fundamental things that my brain tells me is and has been wrong with TNA don't seem to really have changed, but this is a very very talented roster and there are good guys in top positions right now. It COULD be good.

That all said, I barely have time to watch NXT and RAW and Destination America - as with many of you - would require me to upgrade my cable. I am actually downgrading after ESPN stops having post seasons football.

The way the shot this show with the lighting was interesting. It's like they were wrestling like a dark room with a bunch of loud ghosts.

The ending with the big new heel group was an interesting decision after not getting Alberto.
