Man and it starts at 5 pm locally. If they started at 8 pm, it'd start at 7 am, then we could just wake up early.

I bought the show, I'll be posting some thoughts as I go

I missed most of the pre show match, cause I didn't know there was one, but it seemed like a fun 8 man tag
Show opens with a cool hype video
Bucks v Hooliganz for the IWGP JR belts, really good match, couple of near falls for both teams before the Bucks hit more bang for the win, the bucks really are the perfect opening match act for NJPW
Match 2 was Minoru Suzuki and Shelton X Benjamin v Toru Yano and Takishi Iizuka, this match pretty much sucked, they brawled around for a while, Yano produced handcuffs but Suzuki handcuffed him to the ropes instead. Suzuki and Shelton lose by DQ when Suzuki tosses the ref outside the ring...then Yano produces the key and gets out of the cuffs and puts Suzuki in them to a big pop, then he held up a DVD, I can only imagine it's a DVD of him performing other feats of magic

Kojima v Wes Brisco up now, it's an NWA Title match, there's a guy named bruce tharpe there proclaiming Wes as the master of the figure four, ok. Kojima retains with the lariat, match wasn't awful, but not really good either, no lariats from Hansen, I am disappointed
Next up was Nagata and Nakanashi v Goto and Shibata, I enjoyed this match, Nagata and Shibata were working really stiff together and they told a good story
Ibushi v Taguchi for IWGP Jr belt wasn't as good as I hoped, it felt clunky at times, but certainly not a bad match, just not a great match
Now there's an ad for what looks like the equivalent of the Japanese Wrestling Road Diaries
Tanahashi is pushing an exercise video?
This intermission is KILLING ME right now, when they're wrestling I don't feel that tired, but a 20 minute intermission at 6am is flipping brutal
Honma just hit a standing falling headbutt off the top rope to the floor!!!
Having stream issues now....this sucks, missed the end of the honma/ishii match, might have to wait for the replay to finish this show

8 man elimination was fun but nothing great
The gracies fucking suck and this match sucked, it was a special kind of torture trying to stay awake during this match
AJ v Okada was very good, lots of interference from the Bullet Club and Yujiro joined the BC allowing AJ to win the IWGP Heavyweight championship, I love the Bullet Club so I'm okay with this, but not sure how the NJPW regular fans are going to react to all of this
It was strange seeing AJ work full blown heel, I want a Bullet Club T-Shirt sooooooooo bad, post match presser is awesome, AJ getting mad at the press for asking him questions in Japanese, Machine Gun is double fisting beers, great stuff

overall fun show, but I don't think you guys missed anything really special

Disagree - missed a title change. That's a big deal.
Although the under card did seem meh, which i thought going in. One of the reasons i just went to sleep.

I need to go back and watch Ishii and Honma because that's where I lost the stream and apparently it was the best match on the show
Goddammit Highspots!!!! Of course you would put up DDT4 for download the same day I spent $25 on NJPW, this is too much money to spend on wrestling in one day!!!!
