Thanks to longtime correspondent Tara for the following WWE NXT spoilers from tonight's tapings at Full Sail University:

* The first match is for a NXT Kids show. Izzy comes out and gets a huge pop, along with other kids. Natalya vs. Becky Lynch is up. Becky wins a quick, easy match with a roll-up. They embrace after the match

* Big Show vs. Heath Slater is next for NXT Kids. Big Show wins a quick match with a leg drop. After the match, Izzy interviews Big Show, asking him what he eats, joking around and other "cute stuff"

January 13th Episode:

* NXT General Manager William Regal announces a battle royal to determine Bayley's next challenger for the NXT Women's Title. He brings out Sami Zayn next. Sami says he wants to be the first two-time NXT Champion but he's interrupted by Samoa Joe. They have words and Baron Corbin interrupts. This leads to Sami fighting Joe off and Corbin backing away

* Tommaso Ciampa defeated Danny Burch with an arm submission

* The Ascension vs. NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson in a non-title match is next. The Mechanics get the win with their finisher

* Elias Samson defeated Corey Hollis with a Cross-Rhodes type move, a quick and solid finisher

* Carmella won a battle royal to become the new #1 contender. Participants included Eva Marie, Deonna Purrazzo, Aliyah, Cameron, Peyton Royce, Alexa Bliss, Billie Kay, Liv Morgan, Emma and Asuka. Eva hid outside of the ring and there was a false finish where she won. Everyone was furious but Carmella, who was never eliminated, dumped her and got the win. Bayley came out to congratulate her after the match

January 20th Episode:

* Sami Zayn defeated Adam Rose by submission

* Apollo Crews defeated Tye Dillinger. After the match, Crews issued a challenge to NXT Champion Finn Balor and said it doesn't have to be for the title

* Baron Corbin defeated the debuting Rich Swann, who got a great reaction. Great match here too

* Carmella and Bayley vs. Emma and Alexa Bliss is up next. Dana Brooke is at ringside. Carmella makes Bliss tap out for the win. After the match, Bayley raises her arm and they embrace

* Samoa Joe defeated Johnny Gargano by submission

January 27th Episode:

* Chad Gable and Jason Jordan are now known as American Alpha. They defeated Blake and Murphy with the assisted German suplex. Murphy faked a leg injury at one point to get Gable to back off. This let them get the upperhand

* Nia Jax squashed Liv Morgan. Eva Marie was at ringside with Nia

* Alex Riley returned and defeated Bull Dempsey. Riley was working quick and aggressive

* Elias Samson quickly defeated John Skyler

* Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin in a #1 contenders Triple Threat ends when Corbin taps while Sami has him in a Sharpshooter and Joe has him in a crossface. Regal comes out but gives no answer on the winner

February 3rd Episode:

* The Vaudevillains defeated The Hype Bros. with their finisher

* Carmella defeated Emma with a roll up

* Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady defeated two enhancement talents in a squash

* Asuka defeated Santana Garrett with the Asuka Lock

* NXT Champion Finn Balor vs. Apollo Crews in a non-title match is the main event. Great match, Balor gets the win with a Bloody Sunday DDT

Dark Match

1. Manny Andrade defeated Rich Swann.

NXT TV Taping Week One- 2/10

1. Baron Corbin beat Johnny Gargano.

2. Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder beat two enhancement wrestlers.

3. Alexa Bliss (w/Blake & Murphy) defeated Cameron. The worst match I've seen in years.

4. Elias Samson beat Jesse Sorensen.

5. Bayley defeated Carmella to retain the NXT Women's Championship. Bayley won after numerous rollups by both women. Eva Marie and Nia Jax attacked Carmella. Bayley tried to help, but she was knocked off the apron. Asuka ran out and Nia and Eva backed down. Asuka and Bayley teased a match.

Week Two - 2/17

1. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady and American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan) defeated Blake & Murphy, Scott Dawson, and Dash Wilder.

2. Asuka won a women's match. Asuka beat a woman who was billed as being from New Jersey.

3. Tye Dillinger defeated Alex Riley.

4. Samoa Joe fought Sami Zayn to a double pin in a No. 1 contenders match.

Week Three - 2/24

1. American Alpha (Gable and Jordan) defeated Blake & Murphy (w/Alexa Bliss).

2. Apollo Crews beat Chris Girard. Weird match with Girard getting a lot of offense.

3. Tommaso Ciampa beat Bull Dempsey. It's been rapid fire matches. They haven't had a promo or any segments shown.

4. Nia Jax and Eva Marie defeated Bayley and Carmella. Eva had legit heat.

Week Four- 3/2

1. The Vaudevillains won a squash match.

Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe will have a two out of three falls match on "Wednesday at Full Sail" (whatever that means as far as this taping is concerned).

2. Elias Samson beat Steve Cutler. Samson came out for the second time tonight and dozens of people legitimately got out of their seats.

3. Emma defeated Santana Garrett. Santana is from Ocala, Florida and was over with the live crowd.

Austin Aries debuted and was blindsided by Baron Corbin.

4. NXT Champion Finn Balor defeated Neville. Balor clapped for Neville. They shook hands.

Just announced Zayn vs Nakamura for Takeover Dallas at the tapings.

Card for Takeover Dallas:

Joe vs. Balor
Nakamura vs. Zayn
Asuka vs. Bayley
Aries vs. Corbin
Dash and Dawson vs. Gable and Jordan

The rumors of him skipping the NXT were false, at least for NXT Dallas.

Nakamura has been signed and will make his debut against Sami Zayne WrestleMania Weekend at NAT Take-Over Dallas. Sami Zayne lost a 2/3 falls #1 contenders match against Samoa Joe, Sami vs Nakamura wwill happen in Dallas in Nakamura's debut. Finn/Joe is the main event, which I think Joe will win and Balor/Doc/Anderson will make their post-WM RAW debuts.

Although, I wish they would move Joe up to RAW/SD!. He doesn't need the title, give it to Austin Aries. Joe would add a lot the main roster, not to mention AJ/Joe for the first time in WWE? count me in.

March 9th Episode:

* Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe in a #1 contenders 2 of 3 Falls match is first. Joe wins the first fall with a Musclebuster at around 30 minutes. Around 10 minutes later, Sami gets the second fall with a Koji clutch. Less than 10 minutes later, Joe wins the match and the third fall with a clutch

March 16th Episode:

* Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley defeated Angelo Dawkins and Kenneth Crawford

* Emma with Dana Brooke defeated Deonna Purrazzo with the Emma Lock

* Tommaso Ciampa defeated Jesse Sorensen by submission

* Bayley and Asuka vs. Eva Marie and Nia Jax is next. Bayley gets the win for her team by pinning Eva. NXT General Manager William Regal comes out and names Asuka the #1 contender for "Takeover: Dallas"

March 23rd Episode:

* Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated The Vaudevillains to become the new #1 contenders

* A video airs with Shinsuke Nakamura and Regal announces Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn for "Takeover: Dallas"

* Johnny Gargano defeated Elias Samson but Samson beat him down after the match. Apollo Crews runs out and stops the beat down from going too far. Samson and Crews have a staredown

* NXT Champion Finn Balor defeated Rich Swann with Bloody Sunday in a fun non-title match

* Alexa Bliss defeated Mary Dobson with the Sparkle Splash

* Bull Dempsey vs. Danny Burch never happened as Samoa Joe choked them out to send a message

March 30th Episode:

* Asuka defeated Emma in a long match with the Asuka Lock

* Austin Aries defeated Riddick Moss by submission

* Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated Skyler and Hollis

* Baron Corbin defeated an enhancement talent

* NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson defeated Steve Cutler and Tucker Knight in a non-title match

* Apollo Crews defeated Alex Riley. After the match, Elias Samson taunted Crews from the stage by playing a song

* Samoa Joe defeated Bull Dempsey by submission but doesn't let go of the hold. Regal sends a bunch of guys out to pull him off but Joe handles them all. Balor makes the save but Joe roughs him up. Finn fights back and even dives off the announce table during the brawl. Joe grabs Balor from behind but Balor fights him off again to end the show

Crews v Samson will be the biggest buzzkill in the history of wrestling, hopefully it will be taped for the show after takeover and not apart of the live special

Per big Dave on observer radio: zayn is going up after Dallas, Joe is now being considered for the main roster, and balor is "the face of the brand" and in nxt for forseeable future

Joe as a heel aligned with HHH (or not) against Roman could be a good feud for both parties.

Balor vs. Joe again at Takeover: Dallas seems pretty redundant, as their feud seemed to have a conclusive end in London. I assume it may have some type of stipulation to help make the rematch seem fresh.

I also suppose that Nakamura coming in changed plans up as Balor vs. Zayn seemed like a given before this announcement.

I don't know what the appeal of Elias Samson is and why Apollo Crews is being demoted to a feud with him. Even Alex Riley would be a better option for Crews, based off of his recent return and character direction on this week's episode of NXT.

April 6th Episode:

* NXT Women's Champion Asuka defeated Eva Marie, who got massive heat. Nia Jax had a staredown with Asuka after the match

* Dash and Dawson defeated two local wrestlers (Spudz note I seen on twitter, the team was actually 3.0)

* Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley defeated Blake and Murphy without Alexa Bliss. The Revival attacked them after the match and beat them down

* Carmella defeated Aliyah by submission

* Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Elias Samson

April 13th Episode:

* NXT Tag Team Champions Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady

* Nia Jax squashed Deonna Purrazzo

* Levis "No Way Jose" Valenzuela defeated Alexander Wolfe in his debut

* Samoa Joe defeated Apollo Crews by submission

* Austin Aries defeated Angelo Dawkins

April 20th Episode:

* Alexa Bliss defeated Tessa Blanchard

* Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano defeated The Vaudevillains

No Finn interesting. Also they probably taped through April 27th as their next taping at Full Sail is April 28/

* New NXT Champion Samoa Joe opens with a promo in the ring. Joe says it's a new era and he runs things. Eric Young interrupts to a huge pop. Young says everyone knows him and the only thing that's guaranteed is he brings change. Joe leaves after a staredown and says he doesn't belong in the same ring and next time he's in it he's going to beat EY's ass

* Nia Jax squashed Tessa Blanchard

* Austin Aries defeated Tye Dillinger with a 450

* Joe vs. EY is announced for later

* Dash and Dawson defeated Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley

* No Way Jose defeated Noah Kekoah. Jose made referee Drake Younger dance after the match to a big pop

* Samoa Joe defeated Eric Young in a stiff match, after a Musclebuster and a choke. Joe didn't release the hold until well after the match. The crowd didn't care for much of this match but it was good

May 11th Episode:

* Finn Balor opens the show with a promo but is interrupted by Elias Samson. Samson gets Eva Marie levels of heat as he sings a song he wrote for Balor. Samson says Balor is nothing without the NXT Title. Finn hits a pele kick, throws Samson out of the ring and then tosses the guitar at him but he caught it

* NXT Tag Team Champions Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated John Skyler and Corey Hollis. The Revival watched from the ramp and walked down to ringside to taunt American Alpha after the match

* Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Alex Riley with the Kinsasha. The crowd exploded for Nakamura's Full Sail debut and the chants continued for him after he left before the next match

* Alexa Bliss defeated Rachael Ellering in a quick squash. Ellering is daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering

* Finn Balor aggressively defeated Elias Samson. After the match, Balor cut a promo and said he wants his rematch. He's obsessed with being NXT Champion but now he's possessed, like a Demon, who wants what belongs to him. Joe comes out but NXT General Manager William Regal stops a brawl and announces Balor vs. Joe for Takeover on June 8th. Balor jumps over Regal and takes Joe out

* NXT Women's Champion Asuka defeated Adrienne Reese with the Asuka Lock. A good match and great debut for the former Athena

May 18th Episode:

* Austin Aries and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Blake and Murphy with Alexa Bliss. Aries wanted the tag but Nakamura refused and hit the Kinsasha for the win. A good tease of a feud between the two. After the match, Bliss walked away from Blake and Murphy, then Blake walked away from Murphy

* Carmella defeated Peyton Royce

* Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Danny Birch and Rob Ryzin in a good stiff match

* Nia Jax defeated Bayley and dominated the match. Crowd died for this one. Bayley hit a hurricanrana off the apron to get the crowd back into the match. Nia missed a charge in the corner and got the ring post, then locked in the guillotine choke. Nia lifted her up for a suplex, but Bayley reversed and appeared to blow her knee out. Not a legit injury, as Nia crushed her in the corner & worked over her leg. Nia destroyed Bayley and pinned her. This was a long match that just didn't work with the crowd. Bayley sold that she couldn't put any weight on her leg and was helped to the back

* NXT Tag Team Champions American Alpha defeated The Revival in the main event, which may have been a non-title match. Gable and Jordan won with stereo ankle locks

Everything except Asuka/Reese and Revival/AA sounds terrible

i'm probably being melodramatic, but i feel like the day ey showed up will be remembered as the day NXT started going down hill.

Hopefully that is a one off

I feel like I'm the only one who's excited about EY in NXT.

Dude has been excellent in his maniac persona over the last year in TNA. I think so many of us have become so jaded towards what TNA is now, that it's tough to be objective about the wrestlers who are actually performing well on their shows.

Young has shown he can play a diverse range of characters, and it's clear he won't become a focal point of the brand. I really don't have an issue with this, or fear that NXT is becoming #NXTNA.

If EY sticking around he needs to be in the player coach role, where he in the ring with the lesser experience guys and putting them over... Its to bad Baron was called up.. EY would have been a good guy to put him with for a few months.

- Dark Match: Manny Andrade beat Tino Sabbatelli

Manny had a new name, but I couldn't hear over the reaction. (Editor's note: Andrade “Cien” Almas). This was a very good match as Tino is much improved, and a showcase for Manny as he's clearly the gem of the non-TV roster. Andrade teased dives to the outside, and in the end, Manny hit the running double knees in the corner for the win.

- Dark Match: NXT Tag Team Champions American Alpha beat The Authors Of Pain

This was the Full Sail debut of Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa, and they did well in working the Alpha style of match. They got the heat on Gable before the Jordan hot tag. End was the Assisted German Suplex for the win for AA.

- Mr Regal announces Nia vs. Alexa vs. Carmella for the right to face Asuka for the title at TakeOver .

- Ciampa and Gargano beat TM61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorn)

TM61 are the former TMDK (Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste). Excellent match, hard hitting and fast paced. Big reactions for both teams. Ciampa and Gargano got the heat on Shane for most of it before we got the hot tag to Nick. TM61 hit an amazing double team DDT for a near fall, broken up by Johnny. Finish was the double superkick by Gargano and Ciampa for the win. The teams had a stare down post match.

- In-ring promo by Austin Aries saying he wants to be champion. Nakamura interrupts him to the loudest pop in Full Sail history. The crowd was even singing along with his music. In English, he says he wants to be the champion. Regal makes his way to the stage and makes the match for TakeOver.

- No Way Jose beat Johnny Vandal

Showcase match for Jose who was incredibly over. NWJ won with his punch and cobra clutch slam.

- Nia Jax beat Carmella and Alexa Bliss in a triple threat for the right to face Asuka at TakeOver

Very good match with Alexa outsmarting the other two. Carmella went for two dives and had her leglock on Alexa before Nia broke it up and hit her big legdrop for the win. Post match, Asuka confronted Nia in the ring and held the title above her head.

- In ring promo by The Revival who say American Alpha are a fine amateur team. They're interrupted by Ciampa and Gargano who want a match with The Revival. Entertaining stuff, Revival was cleared out of the ring.

- Tye Dillinger beat Buddy Murphy

No Alexa or Blake with Murphy tonight. Big reaction for Dillinger. Murphy tried to work headlocks, yet Dillinger was able to fire up with a superkick and an over the knee neckbreaker for the win.

- Austin Aries beat Elias Samson

As always, major heat on The Drifter with long booing throughout his promo. Aries won via Last chancery submission. Post match, he cut a promo saying he will beat Nakamura.

- Regal is out for the women's title match contract signing. Nia puts down Asuka and says she broke Bayley. Asuka said “You talk too much” then went off in Japanese to a huge pop. A brawl broke out and Nia powerbombed Asuka who stayed down and sold in the go home angle.

- Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa beat The Revival

Great match with a big upset surprise win when Gargano hit a superplex. Post match, The Revival beat down the indie darlings before Alpha made the save. Alpha and Revival brawled for a long time with Alpha clearing house.

- Adrienne Reese beat Nikki Storm

This probably doesn't make tv. It was a fun match with the top rope spinning stunner as the amazing finish.

- Dark Match: Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura beat Tye Dillinger and NXT Champion Samoa Joe

We got a great dark match main event to send the crowd home happy. Amazing reactions for Shinsuke and Finn with a lot of fun spots and Shinsuke being the star that he is. Shinsuke pins Joe with the Kinshasa.

Dark Match: Tucker Knight beat Patrick Clark.

Episode 1 – airing June 15, 2016

(1) The Authors of Pain (w/Paul Ellering) handily crushed two jobbers with the same double-team moves they used on American Alpha last night at NXT Takeover.

(2) Carmella squashed Tessa Blanchard.

(3) TM61 beat Blake & Murphy, who were magically back on the same page… until a disagreement/distraction, which led to the finish.

(4) Andrade “Cien” Almas beat Tye Dillinger in a Takeover re-match. Longer-form version of last night’s match. Almas facing Tye at his current level of popularity is causing a bit of crowd resistance.

Finn Bálor made his way to the ring in street clothes and soaked up a great reaction with a look of reflective appreciation on his face. No mannerisms or arm gestures tonight. Finn reflected on his journey before asking… “What’s next?”

Right on cue… Shinsuke Nakamura emerged. Nakamura said Finn Bálor is an icon in NXT. If Nakamura wants to become NXT champion, he has to go through the icon. Finn and Shin shared a wacky moment of vibrations and funny faces before Finn accepted. The two embraced, and it looks like we’re on. This was just surreally epic.

Episode 2 – airing June 22, 2016

They’ve re-mixed the NXT theme song. Same vocals, heavier more grungy instrumentals. It was symbolic of a reset leading into Brooklyn…

(1) Ember Moon (f/k/a Athena) beat Mandi Rose.

(2) Oney Lorcan (f/k/a Biff Busick) beat Tye Dillinger. Uh oh. Looks like a losing streak gimmick incoming for Tye. Let’s see where it goes. Both men were really impressive, but this crowd is so ready to cheer for Tye in a prominent role. It was as if they were expecting a big pop for the surprise underdog victory, but that was not the case.

(3) No Way Jose squashed Josh Woods.

Post-match: Austin Aries interrupts Jose’s dance celebration to say that pro wrestlers are not defined by their victories but by their defeats. His defeat against Nakamura has made him re-think things. Aries says Jose reminded him that this about having fun, and thanked him. Blatant heel turn swerve incoming…. or not? The two danced in the ring and around ringside together, and up the the announce table…. Here we go. Aries shoved Jose to the floor before diving off the table into an all-out assault. Aries applied the Last Chancery on the ramp as referees emerged to hold him off.

This was a mix of weird, hilarious, savage, and ultimately, effective. So nice to see real fire from Aries, and Full Sail lapped it up.

(4) Bayley squashed Deanna Purrazzo. Full Sail was VERY happy to see Bayley back.

(5) Nia Jax squashed Liv Morgan.

Tye Dillinger came back out in his gear from the last episode and called out Andrade. It looks like a reshoot.

The same ref came back out and they reshot what looked like a portion from the middle of their last match before Dillinger said enough and left to the back. No opening or closing bell. That was so awkward.

(6) Shinsuke Nakamua squashed Buddy Murphy.

Episode 3 – airing June 29, 2016

(1) Alexa Bliss beat Carmella. Refreshingly, not a squash!

(2) Andrade “Cien” Almas squashed Noah Kekoa.

(3) Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa beat The Hype Bros. (Zack Ryder & Mojo Rawley).

Post-match, Gargano & Ciampa cut a promo on The Revival. American Alpha interrupted to let them know that the line for a title shot starts behind them. Regal booked The Revival vs. The Alphas in a Best Three falls match “next week” for the Tag Titles. Suddenly, Authors of Pain rushed the ring and took out both teams as Ellering looked on from the stage. Ominous prospects for The Alphas next week…

End of Episode #3.

Dark match: NXT champion Samoa Joe beat Oney Lorcan.
