Re: WWE Network
XBOX had the same update.
I think I'll be watching WrestleMania on my TV by linking it to my laptop with an HDMI chord.
Very displeased with the XBOX performance.

I haven't had any quality problems with the Xbox streams, just the occasional freeze up if I fast forward or rewind too much at a time.

Re: WWE Network
Admittedly i've only used my 360 for the network once or twice, but it was pretty terrible both times. I tried watching the first live main event live and it was choppy. Then just the other day i tried some VOD and it stopped to buffer constantly.
I still don't know why they only put auto-degrading on the PC (and i think mobile) versions. The PS3 and 360 both seem to lock at 720p, which is fine if your internet can handle it - mine usually can't so i typically have to let a video load for a bit. Heard there was an update, I'm praying they added that.

Re: WWE Network
That's weird. I mean I have pretty garbage internet as it is, but haven't had any trouble streaming. If anything I have more issues with bufferung with my laptop than I do with my 360.

Maybe the crappyness of your internet cancels out the badness of the Xbox 360 at the time. I have no trouble with the 360 on demend service it buffers from time to time on the live stream.

Re: WWE Network
I doubt that. I do know that WWE Network requires each model of Xbox be connected differently to the TV. I have a 360S, I didn't need to make any changes, just use the cables that came with the system. Other models require an HDMI cable be used.

Re: WWE Network
The Xbox 360 app has been quite lousy. It has gotten a lot better recently though.
They finally added the older editions of the Big Four PPVs (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble), as well as the previously mentioned WCW & ECW PPVs.
The fast-forwarding glitch doesn't happen often anymore, as it only seems to be an issue with older content when I watch late at night. This doesn't usually occur during the day though.
The live stream works fine for me. On Thursday, NXT streamed near perfect with only two instances of buffering (which lasted about 2 seconds each time).
It should be noted that I use an older 360 with an HDMI cable plugged in. The app only freezes on me with older shows during late hours.

Re: WWE Network
My problems with XBOX on Demand wasn't that bad.. It was the live stream. It would jump forward randomly at times.
Which has me worried for Mania.
I have gangster internet, so I blame the app. The ethernet chord is directly hooked to the xbox. Watching streams on my wifi streaming laptop though has been fine.

Re: WWE Network
that is weird because my experience has been the stream (almost) always works but the VOD is what has issues.

Re: WWE Network
So today is the big day.
I have already called WWE. Though it is not mania related really (finally decided to download the app on my phone just in case i need that option later, but I keep getting a "package file is invalid" error).
I am currently on hold listening to mr. perfect's theme song. best hold music of all time.

The WWE App would not work on my Nexus 10 until the WWE Network update.

Re: WWE Network
So I downloaded the WWE app on my phone to see how it worked late last night. Pretty much flawless streaming for the 30 minutes or so that I watched before going to bed.
