Jay Lethal vs. Alberto El Patron for the TV Title just announced for the 13th Anniversary PPV:



That's in addition to the announcement last week of the PPV's main event; the Four Corner Survival for the ROH World Title:



Pretty solid card so far. I'm interested in seeing what matches that AJ Styles and reDRagon will end up in.

Some spoilers have set up a good reDRagon match, which should save the show.

But yeah I don't care about either of the two announced matches.

The ROH title match is STRANGE. Elgin is a non-entity these days for a lot of people after his strange baseball/visa thing that went down. Should be a good match but meh.

As for Alberto/Lethal, I think that will actually be a pretty great match.

This show just became MUST BUY for me.

Yeah I'd like to see this get the main event slot, and a stipulation (2/3 falls) added.

AJ Styles added vs. ACH added to the PPV:



I haven't gotten to watch ACH before, but I've heard a lot of great things. This should be a very interesting matchup to see how the hot young prospect performs against a veteran big time player like AJ.

Somehow we had ACH on tIr before he was super popular. Credit to Indy on that one. Also that match should RULE.

This card is filling up rather quickly. The original talent line-up originally advertised Matt Sydal & The Addiction (Kaz & Daniels) also being on this show, but the only additional talent listed on the website after being updated this weekend is Mark Briscoe.

Perhaps the rumor of ROH's failed pitch to acquire more funding from Sinclair is going to impact the talent roster for this card.

Loaded the shit out of this card.

ROH has really made this PPV a can't-miss show. The Bullet Club are in some pretty awesome matches, and they have another big star in the form of Alberto in the semi-main event.

They also added a couple of more undercard matches to round out the show:

I do think its kind of funny that ROH has weeks of TV to build this ppv...and it's mostly sold on people who don't/rarely work there.

That's how you have to do it in today's PPV market though. That's why WWE began using part-timers more often in recent years.

Numbers weren't so hot for Final Battle utilizing mostly their regular roster, so having more special attractions on the show should theoretically lead to better business.

While this is another very strong match, I wonder if there's going to be enough time with now 9 matches on the card.

Also, reDRagon vs. Young Bucks will be contested under Lucha Rules.

I don't think Moose/Mark & the women's match will get a ton of time. I don't think Maria can take bumps anymore. She didn't in the ROH TV main event last week and didn't on the FWE show we watched a couple weeks ago.

I don't believe that those matches would get much time. But 9 matches is still a lot to cram in on a 3-hour show, and still leave room for the top matches to get a good amount of time.

It's like those TNA PPVs from 04-07 where they would schedule so many matches, that there just wouldn't be enough time on the rest of the show for the key matches to go very long.

None of the matches booked need more than 15 mins.
