Also if they can get a Punk or Bullet Club pack, I'll buy the shit out of it and I don't even buy action figures.

I think It's the same company that made the old ECW toys.

I could possibly see Punk signing something so he can get some merch money. But I'm looking forward to the Special K set.

Ahhh... I forgot Amazing Red.
I will buy a Larry Sweeney figure on principle alone if they make it.

Re: ROH Thread
Man, ROH is getting action figures. I might have to pick one up just on principle. TV shows, traditional PPV, action figures....whats next a video game?!
You can definitely tell ROH is being run by a big company now and not just Cary.

Re: ROH Thread
Earlier this year, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling teamed up to put on two joint-produced shows in Toronto, Ontario and New York. Both shows were sold-out and received positive reviews from critics, across the board, leading to several ROH talents being flown into Japan to work multiple events.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Joe Koff and New Japan president Naoki Sugabayashi had a meeting this past week to discuss future collaborative projects. He also confirmed that they will be returning to both Toronto and New York in 2015, and adding two additional U.S. shows to the calendar including one in Chicago, that will showcase talent from both companies.
Ring of Honor stars will also be used on the upcoming Tokyo Dome show in January 2015, that will air in the U.S. for the first time, and feature WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross doing live English commentary.

Would be great if true, I would definitely try and make the Chicago show

Re: ROH Thread
So Final Battle is this Sunday on traditional PPV, and I assume ippv too. The card looks pretty good, despite Jay Briscoe main eventing.
Here's the card.
ROH Title: Fight Without Honor: Jay Briscoe (c) vs. Adam Cole
Tag Team Championship: reDRagon (c) vs. Time Splitters
TV Championship: Lethal (c) vs. Sydal
Strong vs. Adam Page
RD Evans vs. Moose
Elgin vs. Ciampa
Young Bucks & ACH vs. Addiction (Kaz & Daniels) & Cedric Alexander
Jimmy Jacobs vs. Hansen vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Caprice Coleman
So there's a few matches that could really steal the show. I think this is a much better lineup than their first live PPV.

Re: ROH Thread
didn't get to watch it, but the main event sounds crazy (in a good way or a bad way depending on your tastes).
I expected him to drop the belt to Cole, but it looks like ROH is riding the J-Train into 2015...

Re: ROH Thread
We review the show on tIr. Overall thought Final Battle was better than their first PPV. But also the venue was not great for wrestling. Hope they can find a new NYC venue that fits.

Re: ROH Thread
Also:
- The Wrestling Observer reports that the original plan for ROH Final Battle was for Adam Cole to win the ROH world title back from Jay Briscoe at the event. Instead, Jay Briscoe retained the belt against Cole at the event.
The plans changed because Cole is injured, and he may need to take time off for shoulder surgery. At this time, it is unknown how serious the injury is and if he needs surgery immediately. However, the concern over the injury had management opt to keep the title on Briscoe for now.

Re: ROH Thread
ROH keeps bringing in wrestlers I like watching. I wish Sinclair had a TV outlet in Southern California, because I hate watching shows on my computer.

I think Daniels is a good first match. Not sure how the ACH match will go, but I'd like to see ACH go over.

Re: ROH Thread
Alberto vs Roderick in Dayton.
Only date left open without a match is the PPV in March. I figure he will be in the title match. Wonder if Alberto can even beat Jay Briscoe or if he should just forfeit and not waste his time.

Re: ROH Thread
I think the Roderick match will be the best of his first run. I could see them booking him vs. AJ at the ppv. That way they can keep Briscoe strong.

Yeah it was down from BITW. It also sounds like they're going to be done with the ippv option.

Re: ROH Thread
I was strongly considering ordering the first two ROH PPVs, but I'm definitely ordering the next one because Alberto and AJ Styles are on it.
I'm not too familiar with ROH's current storylines and roster, (I know the veterans like Jay Lethal and the Briscoes), but I'll likely enjoy the show regardless.

Re: ROH Thread
Yeah I think a big problem with the first two, even though the first one did really well buys wise and the second one was a really good show (in a bad venue). But neither show had Styles or the Bucks. Which are huge draws. I don't know if they have to pay them more per appearance for an actual PPV date but it should be well worth it.
