Ustream has worked well for NJPW, but i'm not sure if that should be accredited to Ustream or NJPW's production team.

ROH Thread - Page 4 Empty ROH to make Big Announcement Soon?

Post by Spudz Mon Apr 07, 2014 7:18 pm

    from pwinsider
Ring of Honor is scheduled to make an announcement later this week that will "move the company forward in a major way", PWInsider.com has learned.

There was a lot of discussion backstage among wrestlers for the company that the promotion will be issuing an announcement later this week.

ROH just announced a return to iPPVs for next month with their 5/10 and 5/17 New Japan Pro Wrestling joint shows, so that isn't what this announcement is about.

PWInsider.com is working to try and confirm the announcement, but after speaking to a number of people today, we are told there is something on the horizon that promotion will be releasing details of in the next several days. So, stay tuned.

ROH will be secretly in cohoots with Jarrett's new promotion, fake competing against one another while Jarrett fake competes against TNA, while ROH and TNA are actually also in cahoots together and fake competing against Jarrett, and they'll all come together for a new Super Clash PPV, where Jarrett wins all three main titles with help from Vince Russo and Jim Cornette.

Wow, That makes sense.. I bet it been in the works for years and you know this will probably kill New Japan & AAA as they will steal all their talent and I see it probably putting WWE on the ropes.

Rowe & Hanson sign with ROH!

Ring of Honor officials are excited to announce that the 2014 Top Prospect Winner Hanson and 2014 Top Prospect Finalist Raymond Rowe have officially signed their names to an ROH contract. These impressive athletes are collectively known as WAR MACHINE and are hoping to skyrocket to the top of the tag team ranks.

"Both men have been highly impressive in every ROH outing and their dominance in the 2014 Top Prospect Tournament was very noteworthy." said ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness. "Both men possess an unbelievable amount of strength and their athleticism is off the charts for men of their size. There are not too many men who can match power with Rowe and Hanson but the one man who can has endorsed them and predicted that they will be future ROH Tag Team Champions. We all know that only the elite of athletes are able to obtain ROH gold. Rowe and Hanson have potential, but they also have a long way to go."

WAR MACHINE will be in action when ROH returns to Baltimore, MD on April 19th at SECOND-TO-NONE. Click HERE to purchase tickets.

I really doubt that, especially since this probably took months to line up.

But really, they were doing like 1500-2000 buys on ippv for $15. Now they're on "real" ppv for $10 more? How many people are going to buy these?

Maybe Swarley will like this announcement more.

Alex Shelley will finally make his Ring of Honor return on Saturday May 10th in Toronto, Canada as ROH and New Japan present GLOBAL WARS. The Time Splitters will be competing as Shelley will be teaming with his New Japan partner KUSHIDA. Since KUSHIDA's announced involvement on these events many fans have contacted ROH asking if The Time Splitters would be teaming. We are thrilled to announce that they will be.

Shelley is a world traveled competitor who has established himself as one of the top tag team wrestlers on the planet in many major organizations. He is a former two time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. In his career he has been in top tier tag teams with the likes of KUSHIDA, Chris Sabin, Austin Aries, and Roderick Strong. He's been a member of The Time Splitters, Motor City Machine Guns, and Generation Next. Shelley is also a highly successful singles star and was involved in some of the best technical matches ROH has ever seen between 2004 and 2006. His classic bouts can be seen on his new two disc DVD: Alex Shelley Made In Detroit

The Time Splitters' opponents, and other major matches will be announced later this afternoon! ROH and New Japan officials are currently finalizing the card and will be able to provide more details in the upcoming hours. Check back to rohwrestling.com to find out who The Time Splitters will compete against, as well as who The Bullet Club will defend their IWGP Tag Team Championships against.

Don’t miss GLOBAL WARS as Ring of Honor and New Japan present the event live on iPPV from Toronto, Canada on May 10th! ROH and New Japan will also present WAR OF THE WORLDS live on iPPV from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on May 17!

In relation with Shelley, he's been booked in AIW semi-frequently lately, and Chris Sabin will be making his AIW debut against Johnny Gargano on night two of the JLIT. I'm guessing a MCMG vs. Panda Express match is on it's way in AIW.
