to shed light on the Detroit/Kid Rock thing. Yes I am a fan of his, not sure how much of a fan I would be without the Michigan connection, but nevertheless he'll always be alright with me
I don't know how other places are but there is like a Michigan pride/connection thing with people from Michigan, and so Kid Rock is way more popular here than anywhere else

This is what I pretty much figured.
The band Fuel (remember them? Anyone? Early 2000s?) was from the area i grew up, so even though they were a bland band that kinda sucked, they were always popular in the lehigh valley where i was from, even a couple years after they were relevant.

Also the Silverdome could realistically hold 93,000 people, the capacity for standard seating is 82,000, it's not unimaginable to think they could put 11,000 on the floor, fwiw i'm not saying there were 93,000 people there, but it was possible
