NXT Taping Spoilers - Page 5 Empty Re: NXT Taping Spoilers

Post by Spudz Fri Jun 24, 2016 9:54 pm

    from prowrestling.net
    NXT TV Taping
Live Updates from Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University

Tye Dillinger beat an enhancement wrestler in the dark match. I didn’t catch the guy’s name, but he was Asian and has a gimmick that’s part Papa Shango, part Hakushi. (Its Kai Katana)
Dillinger won with the fireman’s carry dropped over the knee.

    Show One

    1. Bayley pinned Alexa Bliss. These two worked hard and had a very solid match. Bayley won clean with her finisher. Bayley cut a promo post-match about getting back on track when she was interrupted by Nia Jax. Jax just walked to the ring, got in Bayley’s face, and then backed up the ramp.

    2. The Hype Bros vs. Blake and Murphy when to a no-contest when Rhyno made his return with Gores all around.

    3. The Revival beat American Alpha in a 2/3 falls match to retain the NXT Tag Team Championships. Alpha scored the first win with tandem ankle locks, Jordan in the ring and Gable at ringside. Revival got the second fall with an inverted figure-four on Jordan. Revival won the match with a surprise Shatter Machine on the apron.

    Show Two:

Samoa Joe came out to cut a promo. He said he was there to witness Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. He said that he slayed the Demon Balor, and he’s the emperor to conquer the King of Strong Style. Rhyno interrupted to confront Joe, but Joe backed down.

    1. Austin Aries squashed Patrick Clark. Aries won with the Last Chancery and then held onto the hold past the bell. Afterwards, No Way Jose ran down and put a beating on Aries until Aries ran out of the arena through the lobby.

    2. Andrade Almas over Angelo Dawkins. Almas hit the double-knees and a split-legged moonsault for the win.

    3. Asuka submitted Eva Marie to the Asuka Lock.

    Show three:

    1. Samoa Joe choked out Rhyno.

    2. The Authors of Pain beat American Alpha. The Authors attacked Alpha while Alpha were making their entrance. After some delay, Alpha hit the ring and cleared the Authors before the match finally got underway. This appeared to be Alpha’s write-off from NXT.

    3. Bayley pinned Nia Jax. This one went long at a pace that wasn’t exactly stellar. Bayley looked to be in trouble, but she scored the win after a Bayley-to-Belly from the second rope.

    4. Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Finn Balor. This match will be edited into the second show taped. After a very good back-and-forth match with some excellent near-falls, Nakamura got the win with the Kinshasa. Post-match, the two hugged before Balor left the ring to Nakamura to close. Presumably after the show went off-air, Balor came back out with a couple bottles of water and the two gave a non-alcoholic Stone Cold salute. They did each other’s poses and Finn made his way around ringside to greet fans before the show closed with both guys at the top of the ramp delivering a “Yeaoh” and leaving together.

NXT Taping Spoilers - Page 5 Empty Re: NXT Taping Spoilers

Post by Spudz Wed Jul 13, 2016 10:10 pm

    from wrestlinginc.com

    July 27th Episode:

    * Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Blake. Okay match, Blake got a decent amount of offense. Shinsuke wins with the Kinsasha.

    * William Regal announces Shinsuke Nakamura vs. NXT Champion Samoa Joe for the "Takeover: Back to Brooklyn" main event

    * Billie Kay defeated Santana Garrett. Santana got in a good bit of offense and looked good. Billie won with a stiff kick to the face

    * TM-61 defeated Adrian Nails and Rob Ryzin. This was a showcase match for TM-61, who picked up the quick win with their double team move

    * No Way Jose defeated Steve Cutler in a quick squash

    * After the match, Jose cuts a fired up promo about how all he wanted to show Austin Aries was the fun he brings to NXT. Joe says Aries took advantage of him and when he showed him what he could turn his fiesta into, Aries turned into a coward. Jose says next time they meet, he will whoop Aries' ass.

    * WWE Cruiserweight Classic competitor Kota Ibushi defeated Murphy in a great match. Ibushi received a huge pop and won with the sitout powerbomb. This may have been a dark match

    * Samoa Joe comes out for a promo and says the title match with Shinsuke Nakamura at Takeover will not happen since William Regal didn't consult him. Joe calls Nakamura an undeserving contender. Regal comes out and says his decision is final. Joe says he had to jump through hoops to get the title and Regal needs to correct his disrespect towards him, and they need to discuss his opponent. Regal says if Joe doesn't accept the fight, he forfeits the title. Joe says he will hand Regal nothing and that match will happen, but this is the biggest mistake Regal has ever made. Joe says if he sees Nakamura before Takeover, Nakamura won't make it there. Nakamura interrupts and taunts Joe from the stage. Nakamura leaves while Joe stands in the ring confused

    August 3rd Episode:

    * Hideo Itami defeated CWC competitor Sean Maluta. Itami received huge "welcome back" chants. This was a good match and a nice showing for Maluta. Itami won with the running single-leg dropkick

    * Backstage segment with Bayley. She says it's time for her to adapt and prepare for NXT Women's Champion Asuka. Bayley says she's been watching Asuka. Asuka interrupts and tells Bayley to watch first hand

    * Asuka defeated Aliyah. Before the match, Asuka took a chair and put it at the bottom of the ramp, then dared Bayley to come sit in it. Bayley folded the chair up and watched from ringside. Asuka kicked Aliyah in mid-air but stopped the count at two so she could apply the Asuka Lock for the win. She doesn't let the hold go, prompting Bayley to come in and break it up. Asuka taunts Bayley with the belt as she checks on Aliyah. Bayley helps Aliyah to the back

    * Bobby Roode comes out for a promo and says the wait is finally over, and he is NXT. He says Dallas showed him NXT was for him. He says the phrase "We Are NXT" applies to the fans too. Roode says he's here to take NXT and the fans to the next level and that NXT and the fans need Bobby Roode. He's the man to expand the brand and make it a global powerhouse. He will be featured on billboards, commercials, and everywhere. He will make NXT a better place. Roode says presidents, vice presidents and businessmen will soon fill the NXT Arena, not the loser fans here right now. He says he's a superstar because he looks and acts like one. Roode ends it by saying he is at the helm of the new NXT, and from here on, NXT will be

    * NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson defeated TM-61 in a good match. CWC competitors Tony Nese, Drew Gulk and Zack Sabre Jr. were brought to ringside for this match. The Revival gets the win when Dash pulls Shane off the apron, leading to Nick chasing him around the ring but Dawson hit him with a DDT when he came back in. After the match, the champions cut a promo running down who they've beat. They're interrupted by Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, who come out wearing their Pro Wrestling Tees shirts. They do comedy, including some Pokemon jokes. They want to college the NXT Tag Team Titles and say The Revival hasn't beat them. Dash and Dawson tell them to go back to their basements. A brawl breaks out, and Gargano and Ciampa hit their double team move. They cover Dash for a three count, then celebrate with the titles before laying them back down for The Revival to retrieve

    * Sabre, Nese, and Gulak are still at ringside

    * Mojo Rawley vs. Chris Atkins ended in a No Contest when Samoa Joe ran out and destroyed both men. Joe says he doesn't feel the need to consult with William Regal when he wants to rampage allover his show. Joe promises to destroy Shinsuke Nakamura. Mojo runs back in and lays Joe out but Joe attacks him on the ramp and locks in the Clutch until referees pull him off

    August 10th Episode:

    * William Regal is out for a contract signing with Bayley and NXT Women's Champion Asuka. Bayley says she's ready to beat Asuka. Asuka says she doesn't have what it takes, but she respects Bayley and offers a handshake. Bayley refuses and says if Asuka doesn't want to end up laid out like her last contract signing, she'll put her hand down and sign the contract. Asuka signs and tries a handshake again, but Bayley slaps her hand out of the way and bumps past her on the way out of the ring. Bayley runs back in for a stare down with Asuka

    * The Authors of Pain defeated Adrian Nails and Rob Ryzin in a quick, brutal squash. They tried to continue the assault after the match but TM-61 ran down. They were also laid out. The Authors celebrate but American Alpha runs down and clears the ring with big suplexes

    * Andrade "Cien" Almas defeated Angelo Dawkins in a quick squash with a new finisher following the double knees in the corner, a facebuster while he sweeps the leg. Andrade celebrates but is interrupted by Bobby Roode. Roode claps and congratulates Andrade, not on the win, but on being Roode's debut opponent at Takeover. Roode says he knows his "amigo" has a hard time understanding English, so he'll tell him slowly that Takeover will be glorious

    * CWC competitors Rich Swann, Noam Dar and Jack Gallagher were at ringside for this episode

    * Billie Kay defeated Liv Morgan in a really sloppy match

    * Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Tucker Knight and Patrick Clark in a quick match

    August 17th Episode:

    * Hideo Itami defeated CWC competitor Mustafa Ali. This was an okay match with a good amount of offense for Ali. Itami got the win with the running single-leg dropkick

    * Carmella, Liv Morgan and Nikki Glencross defeated Daria, Mandy Rose and Alexa Bliss. Not a bad match really. The heels beat up on Liv until she got the hot tag to Carmella. The faces got the win when Carmella reverses a pin into her submission

    * NXT Champion Samoa Joe defeated Mojo Rawley in the non-title main event. Mojo starts the match aggressive until Joe tosses him into the steps. Joe dominates. Mojo fights out of the Muscle Buster and hits a clothesline off the top, then fights out of the Clutch attempt for a slam and a near fall. Joe turns the tides and drops Mojo in the corner, screams Nakamura, and locks on the Cocquina Clutch for the win. Joe puts the the hold back on when Nakamura's music hits for the save. Security and referees run out to keep a fight from happening, and hold Joe back while Nakamura taunts him, grabs his nose, and leaves. After Nakamura leaves, Joe lays out security in a rage and grabs his title to end the episode

Santana Garrett vs. Billie Kay should be a real good match.

Also I like seeing TM-61 get a lot of focus.

But they really need to book Joe/Itami quick before they miss their chance.

    from lordsofpain.net

    October 19th Episode:

    * The show opens with a look back at last week's Samoa Joe - Shinsuke Nakamura brawl

    * Rich Swann and No Way Jose defeated Tony Nese and Drew Gulak in a first round Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic match. Great match. Swann took out Nese with a crazy dive to the floor and Jose hits his finisher on Gulak for the pin. After the match, Swann & Jose cut a promo saying The Authors of Pain shouldn't look past them, and lead the crowd in dueling "Can you handle this/No Way Jose" chants

    * "The Glorious" Bobby Roode defeated Sean Maluta. Okay match, Roode is over huge. After the match, Roode cuts a promo saying he and Tye Dillinger have a match at "Takeover: Toronto." Roode runs down Tye and claims he begged Roode to be his partner. Dillinger runs down to attack, and they brawl. Tye clotheslines Roode out of the ring and sends him packing to huge 10 chants from the audience

    * Backstage promo with Liv Morgan recapping her loss to Billie Kay with Peyton's distraction. Liv gets jumped and laid out by Billie and Peyton and they drag her to the stage and lay her out. Billie and Peyton say they are putting the women on notice and the division belongs to them

    * Austin Aries and Roderick Strong defeated Tucker Knight and Otis Bogojevic in a first round Dusty Classic match. Surprisingly good for the contrast in styles and weights. Roderick got a huge pop for his debut. Team Aries picks up the win when Aries hits his spinning forearm allowing Strong to hit Death by Roderick and the Sick Kick for the win

    * Nikki Cross squashes Danielle Kamella with SAnitY at ringside. Nikki jumps Danielle after the match until Eric Young pulls her away. Nikki slaps EY and goes after Danielle again. They announce the referee has reversed his decision and names Danielle the winner due to excessive violence

    * NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is out for a promo. He tells Samoa Joe if he wants his title at Takeover he will be him with no mercy. Patrick Clark interrupts to huge, huge heat. Patrick suggests him vs. Nakamura, the Patrick Clark Experience. Nakamura kills him. Samoa Joe runs out, but stops when Nakamura turns around, and retreats. Nakamura hits a Kinshasa on Patrick while the refs are helping him up

    October 26th Episode:

    * Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano defeated Tian Bing and HoHo Lun in a first round Dusty Classic match. Bin Wang is now Tian Bing. Decent match. Bing has potential but is still learning

    * Aliyah defeated Billie Kay (w/Peyton Royce) with a roll up when Liv Morgan attacked Peyton, distracting Billie. Billie and Peyton attack Liv until Aliyah runs back in, but the heels still leave them laying

    * RAW Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins and Kota Ibushi defeated Lince Dorado and Mustafa Ali in the final first round Dusty Classic match. Fantastic match, Ali taps to the kneebar. TJP and Kota dab together post-match. TJP was announced as the Cruiserweight Champion but didn't come out with his belt

    November 2nd Episode:

    * Ember Moon defeated Rachael Evers in a quick match with the O-Face

    * Before DIY vs. The Revival starts, Scott Dawson comes out on crutches and says he's suffered a severe knee injury and that if he were a normal jamoke like DIY, he'd be crippled, but since he's who he is, he'll be fine. He wants to compete, but at the advice of his doctors, they're pulling out of the Dusty Classic. Dash says they're saving DIY from embarrassment and giving them a gift to the next round

    * The Authors of Pain come out before Gargano & Ciampa can leave and attack them, but DIY clears the ring and Authors retreat

    * "The Drifter" Elias Samson makes his return to thunderous heat. He sings a song on stage before his music hits and he makes his way to

    * Samson defeated Nathan Cruz in a squash. Huge heat for The Drifter

    November 9th Episode:

    * Liv Morgan defeated Peyton Royce (w/Billie Kay) via DQ when Billie jumped Liv when Peyton was about to tap out to a front facelock. Aliyah runs down for the save, but she gets overpowered. Ember Moon's music hits and she makes the save. Ember and Liv hit stereo dropkicks to send Peyton and Billie running. The three faces celebrate in the ring

    * We get a recap of Andrade "Cien" Almas' heel turn on Cedric Alexander. Andrade is back to the suspenders/fedora, but has pyro on the ramp now

    * Almas defeated Cedric Alexander. Awesome stiff match. Andrade as a heel is so, so great, as is Cedric as an angry babyface. Andrade targeted Cedric's shoulder all match. Cedric countered the double knees in the corner with a Lumbar Check, but Almas rolled to the ropes and crotches Cedric on the ropes. Andrade then hit the hammerlock DDT for the win

    * William Regal is out for the Samoa Joe - Shinsuke Nakamura contract signing, and he's brought plenty of security with him

    * Regal introduces Nakamura then Joe. Joe walks away and drags his own table and chairs out and says Regal's security has a bad history with him, so he'll conduct his business from here. He tells Nakamura it must be awful to go from being Japan's biggest export to getting beat down by him. He says he'll give Shinsuke his opportunity for revenge at Toronto. He tells Regal to make himself useful and bring him the contract. Regal begins to speak but Joe cuts him off and says to bring his ridiculous accent and do what he says. Regal brings him the contract and Joe signs. Joe refuses to hand Regal the contract, instead dropping it in front of him. Shinsuke refuses to sign the contract and lays out the security. Nakamura powerbombs one of the security guards through the table in the ring, then signs the contract

    * Note: As of now, we're not sure the order any of this is airing. They've just starting filming randomly

    * SAnitY defeated Kota Ibushi and TJP in the quarterfinals of the Dusty Classic. Good match. Fulton & Wolfe worked over TJP until he got the hot tag to Ibushi. Ibushi hit the powerbomb, but Eric Young and Nikki distract the ref. Fulton lays out Ibushi and they hit their double team for a clean pin on Ibushi
