Re: Tough Enough
I watched every episode. I regret it all.
Josh has potential but reallllllyyyyy annoyed me. Amanda was also better than Sara Lee but the slut shaming stuff made me switch sides. Even though clearly America loves Sara.
Overall it missed Austin, but at least Josh has a chance at being on TV unlike SILENT RAGE.

Re: Tough Enough
I watched it all too and lost all hope when I saw by how large of a margin Sara Lee was winning the fan vote over the other contestants.
Patrick getting voted off was demoralizing, as the show's plan of turning the fans against him worked that episode (unlike when it backfired when they tried it with Sara), and then GiGi getting voted off just made me lose interest, as she was clearly the best female on the show.
As for the winners, Sara is as dull and stale as a piece of bread that she shares the same name with. Also, for as much crap as Amanda as getting for "slut-shaming" her, Sara basically won over the fans with the same tactic; i.e. her anti-BIKINI MODEL campaign.
Josh has some good size, but he feels really awkward (speaks way too quickly and just kind of rambles). I also feel like he doesn't get what a wrestling persona is. He kept putting over his "Yeti" persona all season, but then for the match, when he took off the fur gear, he just started rapping and wrestled in plain looking briefs. He didn't really parlay that character into his match either.
As for their futures with WWE, I personally don't see Sara being kept around after her 1-year $250,000 TE contract is up. I can see Josh sticking around, but there's a lot of competition within the WWE developmental system already with similar size and appearance such as Baron Corbin, Braun Stowman (who recently got called-up), and various others in NXT.

Re: Tough Enough
I think they'll sign Patrick and Mada to contracts. I feel it's going to be really hard to sign GiGi and Amanda as they could probably make more money modeling and doing bikini contests than on a WWE developmental deal.

Re: Tough Enough
Those fitness model careers aren't typically as lucrative as most people think they are.
Bikini fitness competitions only pay out to the winners. Most fitness models live off of public appearances at fitness conventions, modeling for ad-campaigns, and advertising products on their social media accounts. So there's a lot of work to do, in addition to having to maintain an impressive physique.
While WWE developmental deals aren't worth a whole lot of money, it's at least stable money, and being in that system allows for individuals to focus solely on wrestling training. They can also still do things like Instagram/Twitter advertising for products, as seen with most of the NXT roster and products like Quest Bars and Kill Cliff energy drinks.

Re: Tough Enough
I feel like they were trying to do it for the 250k. They clearly had no idea what the hell wrestling was before the show. I don't know if they care enough to make 50k a year and not be on TV for a year or two.

Re: Tough Enough
That was basically everyone on the show except Patrick and Chelsea though.
It's not that crazy to think that after learning the trade for a couple of months, and making some key contacts within that industry, that they might give it another shot.
Regardless, I don't see USA renewing this show for another season, due to lousy ratings and a terrible new format. If this show has another season, it will probably be as a Network exclusive.

Re: Tough Enough
Didn't watch any of it, but I'm going to a local show that Patrick is on in a few weeks. So I'll let you know if he actually sucks.
