CRAZY STEVE!!!

I guess this is a spoiler, but who really cares?

During the recent TV tapings in Orlando, Knux returned to IMPACT WRESTLING with a new stable called The Menagerie. The stable, pictured above, consists of Knux, his girlfriend Rebel, a clown named Crazzy Steve, a masked bodybuilder named The Freak (presumably Rob Terry) and two guys on stilts. The term "menagerie" means a "collection of wild animals on exhibition" or a "strange and diverse collection of people or things".

Not Crazy Steve! He's crazy!

So the dude from the old nickolden show Drake and Josh and the guy who does the voice over for Tuff Puppy Joined tna? Some might get the references some might not

Some sort of giant hawk or other bear-size-shit-taking-bird appears to have nailed Crazzy* Steve right before the picture.


In fairness, a crazy, dark carnivalesque group could - IN THEORY - be really entertaining and add a new dynamic to a roster. However, it would have to not be entering an environment void of creativity and wreaking of desperation. Also, the group would need to not have that lack of creativity and abundance of desperation woven into the nuances of their the characters and their names.




*I am going to assume that is not a typo in the original post and that Crazzy Steve will, in fact, be spelling his name with TWO Zs.... as a crazy person would do.

i dunno, it's something different. i will give it a chance before shitting on it.

Glad to see TNA do a small twist before stealing the Wyatt Family gimmick.

Where do they find these people?

So wait... Is he crazy or crazzy?

I see this as a rip of the Wyatts only in that they wanted to find an aesthetic that gives people nightmares. Crazy Hillbillies and Carnival Folk have very little cross over and neither are playing off the overlap characteristics. Hell, if it weren't for Rob Zombie, people probably wouldn't strongly associate the two that much.


This could be fun. If they want it to be as good as it can they need to also copy the WWE's commitment to the crazy with the wyatts, not matter how odd the matchup seem at first. I expect them to half ass it though, but we will see.

WHERE IS KIZARNY?!?

I was a little excited that the video used a Chariot song, but this was probably the oddest choice for them to use.

I like that video for two reasons.

1) It confirms he spells his name with two Zs... because that is what crazy people do.

2) That is pretty legit. He has my attention.

I don't think that's a TNA video.

I don't think it is either; I said "he" has my attention. The video makes Crazzy Steve look more compelling than that still photo. Given that "Crazzy Steve" is the creator of the video, I assume it reflects his potential creativity*.



*insert all caveats about how TNA will have a great deal of influence and he is a joker/sting-joker knockoff... etc etc etc.

I really think rob terry (masked jacked dude) won't add anything. They don't need a world destroyer, they need genuinely creepy people. Jarek1:20 or Sinn Bodhi would've been better.

I would pick jarek given his youth and x division capabilities, but whatever.

Turns out Crazy Steve is everything we hoped he would be and more.

I hate everything about this group. And more. Knux looks fucking stupid with a sequined vest.

You know they're going to be special when they get Sin Cara lights.

Also let the record show I believe that was Kazarians last match.

that match was 3 minutes and i couldn't finish it.

I believe i was reserving my judgement on this group. I feel pretty secure in saying they are hot garbage now.

Was that honestly even a match? The guy can't even hit a splash on balloons. And it wasn't even comical when he missed it a la Kobald

This is a situation where I am excited I decided to stop watching TNA.

My favorite part was Tenay saying he never thought he'd call a man splashing balloons from the top rope. But...he didn't call it!

Yeah. I tried to be optimistic. That was terrible.

As if a splash onto balloons is the strangest thing Tenay has ever called in his wrestling career.

I'm not sure what was worse, the match in general, or Taz trying to sell the freakshow like it's something great, while Tenay sounds like he wants to shoot himself at the end.
