What should be the theme/story mode/new modes in WWE 2k15?

'13 was Attitude Era, 14 was WrestleMania.

One thing I'd like:

A RPG-type mode: NXT to Hall of Fame - You take a CAW or a current NXT wrestler, then you start at NXT. You work your way up to the Main roster after winning the NXT Title. On the main roster, you gotta win the IC &/or US & Tag Belts. Beat Undertaker at WrestleMania. You must win Money in the Bank & the Royal Rumble, eventually Main Eventing WrestleMania. Win the WWE World Title a few times, then mode ends with you years later being inducted into the Hall of Fame. The titles, MitB, Undertaker match, Rumble are all things you must win. However, during the story your actions have effects on the story. Like say they have Evolution beating up Bryan, you can choose to save Bryan making/keeping you face or join in on the beat down, joining Evolution or just turning heel. You can form Tag Teams. You can form a relationship with a Diva, making her your valet. Same with a Manager, you can become a Paul Heyman or Zeb Coltur guy. At the end during your Hall of Fame cut-scene, they show a highlight reel of what you did during the mode.

An RPG style mode where it's not like Universe, as in you just focus on one wrestler & have to hit some milestones, but similar to Universe where you have the freedom to control the wrestlers character.

I would like the theme to be "A new game from the ground up for new consoles".

I would happily play a game with a whole new engine with limited features over another year of "HEY LOOK AT ALL THIS SHIT WE ADDED!!!!"

And considering how "meh" 14 was, I'm hoping 2K sports brings it this year. (I realize a new engine in like a year and a half might be a bit much to ask for, but maybe at least a major overhaul under the new management?).

They should make the games fun again.

An actual story mode would be nice.

Reverse Battle Royals

the fact they've taken the story mode out of the games makes me not buy them. without story modes the game feels cheap and arcade like, thus not worth the money.


NXT to hall of fame mode sounds good. Maybe even take it further, here's my idea


Road to NXT Mode.

take the one good thing the TNA game had where you start off wrestling in high school gyms on the Indys and then have to work your way to NXT then work through the performance center to get onto NXT TV (include a handful of NXT guys on the game as unlockables) ends with you getting a World title shot in NXT. to complete the mode you have to Win the NXT title.

Rookie of the year mode.

After completing NXT, you get your call up to the main roster as a surprise entrant into the Royal Rumble. you put in a good showing getting into the final few but ultimately get eliminated. This leads to a solid run of jobber wins on the undercard, then you get taken under the wing of a veteran and go on an assault for the tag team titles, where you feud with The New Age Outlaws. You complete this section by winning the tag titles at Wrestlemania 31.

Going for Gold.
After Wrestlemania you become an outside bet for the Intercontinental Title, you're tag team partner gets jealous and you feud with him after he costs you the Intercontiental Title, you then lose the tag team titles. This mode ends with you winning the Intercontinental Title at Royal Rumble.

Mystery Man
After riding the wave of success and being tipped for a main event title run a mystery man in a mask keeps attacking you, saying he knows stuff about you, you keep this going until you face off against this mystery at Wrestlemania defeating him to ascend the roster.

Don't Cross The Boss
Coming off of Wrestlemania you spend a couple of months feuding with the World Champion, but you can't quite get the job done for one reason or another, but you're getting steady fan support, you demand to put into the Royal Rumble match but The Authority don't believe in you, they say you can either be with them or against them (face or heel choice) you choose to be a face you have to fight all the odds to get into the royal rumble.

Showcase of The Imortals mode.
You come off the back of the Royal Rumble and you're going into Wrestlemania, this mode is built a lot around cut scenes, you go back and visit neighbourhoods you grew up in as you stand on the verge of completing your dream. you wander back into the highschool gym you had your first match in (at the start of the game) and then a legend wanders in, he says he wants you to prove to him he's got what it takes and you have to wrestle a legend and beat him, he then says you're ready to go to wrestlemania and he'll be rooting for you. You then have to go on to Wrestlemania and win the title.

Hall of Fame mode.
The next 6 months you're still champion and you've formed a stable with an undercard tag team and you've been selected to induct a legend into the hall of fame, This legend becomes your ally on screen, joining you as the new evolution type team, but this legend wants one more thing from you, he wants a title match at wrestlemania, he enters the royal rumble and wins and you have to face him at wrestlemania knowing if you win you'll cement your legacy forever, leading up to the main event you get an injury but you have to power through and work through. you have to defeat the legend at wrestlemania to retain the title but in doing so you suffer a career ending injury. the next night on Raw you have to retire and rescind the title.

The game flashes forward a year and you are inducted into the hall of fame, at the end of the game you spot a kid in the crowd, who's looking you directly in the eye and you can tell, he's going to be the next big superstar.
