Seemed like the guys were having a lot of fun together, but I didn't have as much fun watching them have fun. It just wasn't all that fun.

Re: Legends House thread
I am going to wait until there are like 5 episodes out before I start. It doesn't seem that compelling really, but I'll give it a shot and I want to wait for it get its stride.

This week on legends house: Tony Atlas apologizes to a horse. Also there's still no food.

I gave up on legends house. It's not terrible, just shockingly dull.

I finally came around and started watching. I actually kind of love it. It is the Real World if they replaced young attractive people with contrived personalities with old men. I love it. My wife actually loves it. We have been marathoning it all day.

Re: Legends House thread
The show picked up after the first few episodes. It definitely doesn't have much longevity, but it's a fun concept that would work well in future seasons with the right personalities.

I watched everything except for the reunion. I didn't hate it, I thought it would be better. Ashley is amazing. The newlywed game episode and the Roddy Piper roast were the best episodes.

Not really. She likes the personalities so documentaries and what not interest her. She thinks legends house is hilarious. She is hooked on it right now. She tried real hard to get into when we first got marred, but when I turn wrestling on anymore she kinda zones out. Last night she did get excited when any of the legends where on though so I got to sneak in some old school Piper matches.
I think it is just our humor that makes us like Legends House. It is the absurdity of it, the nuance. The faces they make. The whole thing amuses me more than it probably should. I hope they do another season, but they need to be careful about personalities. They need to get people who are actually interesting and goofy and won't care to have fun and not just shoot for big names.

My girlfriend doesn't like wrestling but will still go to shows with me (sometimes). God bless her.

Re: Legends House thread
I had a girlfriend in early/mid 2000s that went to a few ROH shows with me. She actually had a good time. I think my wife would like a good indy show. She gets into it sometimes. She kinda likes a hand full of people, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Kevin Steen. She is fully willing to buy me the dorkiest DVDs though. She bought be the best of El Generico in PWG. She also bought me the Best of Stan Hansen and the Best of Ultimo Dragon from Highspots. If wrestling were drugs, she would be showing a willingness to encourage a full on crack addiction.
I was watching a random Benoit vs Malenko match from WCW and she totally marked out for a Jimmy Hart run in. It was adorable.
