The theory is that the Jarret company is slightly a ruse. That it is created to provide TNA with competition. So that TNA will have a level, non-WWE opponent that it can compete with for talent.

The idea being that fans would want to see the two companies compete against each other - and since they're not the WWE they can (if they wanted to) namedrop each other, or even run inter-promotion shows.

    Idea taken from here: http://www.tnasylum.com/2014/03/how-jeff-jarretts-company-could-be-best.html

I've noticed a lot of people, including Dixie still follow Jarrett on Twitter and Kevin Sullivan is one of JJ's fed producer, he produced TNA up until Jarrett left. Their seems like their will be a new fed, but possibly it's just a secret off-shoot TNA so they have "competition".

Possibly, but is following other people that are competition in your line of work on Twitter that big of a deal?

It wouldn't be the worst booking idea ever. As long as they could stay diligent in keeping them separate and making cross overs and roster jumps special it could be a lot of fun.

Well, there seems to be no public bitterness and he tweets TNA guys quite a bit.

Not to mention, him quitting TNA seemed out of place. He was happy and the new Executive Producer replacing Bischoff. Also, starting another National fed from the ground up would be really hard, if it wasn't, there would be feds popping up all over the place. I mean Billy Corgan's fed would have a national TV deal. Jarrett has been good at pulling tricks on the wrestling media in the past.

first of look where it comes from... tnasylum.. Go read it.. A lot of these people live in fantasy worlds where nothing serious is wrong with TNA, no money issues, every show is good, anybody that don't have a simular opinion then they do are TNA haters... AJ Styles leaving is a work so of course they going have it in their head that Jeff leaving and starts a nother promotion is also some kind of work.

Jeff & his investors wanted to buy TNA .. Jeff gets put back into the fold at TNA so things will be put in place for its a easy transfer but then  Carter family said only if you keep Dixie..they said no Jeff realize he can do a better job with his investors, who probably have good connections So he leaves TNA...  TNA already have competion coming up with  the New AAA project, ROH getting more TV slots, NJPW doing ippvs why divide the company up, make your company look like it in worse shape then it really is by having  the founder and the face of TNA "leave" the company?

It wasn't hey "lets put it out the company up for sale ..Jeff's people almost buys it but cause of Dixe they don't and Jeff goes starts a "new promotion" so TNA has fake competition for awhile then  down the line we unite them and have  supercards,etc..

TNA doesn't have enough talent(or money) for 1 roster, let alone 2.

I think IMO Jarrett and Toby secertly bought TNA. I think that Jarrett always liked the International stuff with Mexico and Japan and who recently started showing up out of no where bassically Sanda and Tigre Uno. So that is just an IMO.

Out of no where?? not true ... Muta and his Wrestle-1 started talking to TNA while Jarett was still there..Remember AJ defended his title against Sanda in Japan?? That when the rumors of Sanda coming over started. Tigre Uno had a match or two in TNA at the start of December so Jarrett probbaly did have a hand in bringing him but probably not long after that is when Jarrett's group buying TNA soured and he walked away from TNA...

Look at it this way .. Why would they be doing this angle with MVP right now.. A Angle they already had done with Hogoff not that long ago.. if down the line the plan was to create something betwen TNA & Jarrett's "new promotion" why have feuding authority figures now? when they have to do almost the same thing with Jarrett & Dixie? later.

    1. If this was true, it would be pretty stupid.

    2. This is so not true.

Half of you are insane (J and Bully)

TNA isn't that smart, they don't have enough talent, and who the fuck would cover the expenses of two shows? A company that just fired their two hottest guys to bring in one guy who hasn't wrestled (non-MMA since what, 2008?)

The only company that pulled this off was Chikara, and even that was incredibly derisive. There's no way the "fans" TNA have in the south would comprehend this at all. Wishful thinking at best.

Maybe the financial state of TNA is such that it makes more sense to fold the company and start again for Jarrett than buy it.

TNA could well be out of business by next Summer, latest.
