PWG didn't start their operations in Reseda, so it's not like they've shown that they can't run shows in another city.

I'm sure that they're satisfied with the money they produce from their current model, hence why they put minimal effort into marketing. However, I can't help but feel that they could do even better if they ran a building that could hold at least 100 more people in it.

But hey, I suppose growing your business is overrated.

If they leave the Legion, they are just another indy, it's really the single most important part of the show IMO


Look at the WrestleReunion shows, its just another company, they need the building

I mean they legit haven't run another venue since like....2010? It's basically their ECW arena (except better). It's not like they need to expand and grow their brand or whatever, most of their roster is signed to a contract somewhere else. They're a cool LA indie company, that's their deal. They could probably run some armory or something but Reseda and that crowd has been good to them, so I don't think they see a need to.

And hey CZW has done nothing but find one building and run their every time for 15 years and they're somehow, against all odds, still going.

I'm not saying that they need to tour or anything, but would it hurt so much to run a slightly bigger venue?

I'm not familiar with Reseda, as it is quite a drive away from LA (where PWG originated) but I got to believe that there is at least one building that is relatively cheap to run, still provides the intimacy that their current venue has, and has a slightly bigger audience capacity.

There is some growing resentment among PWG fans that shows keep selling out so quickly. There's a HUGE demand for their product, but they seemingly don't care to put any effort into fulfilling it.

Yeah I don't think they'll leave until the building closes, unless they end up doing any more wrestle reunion shows.

Also I think Shimmer and AAW are better examples as they consistently sell out the Eagles Club, and really the only shows SHIMMER does outside of that venue is the WM shows. Prazak has gone on record saying he doesn't want the company to travel, and really just wants to keep the atmosphere they're able to get with the Eagles Club. I believe Excalibur has said similar things.

When Dave was giving his report from the show he went to he was saying that they have regulars that fly in for the shows. He said there is a guy that flys in every show from New York.

I've actually talked about this with some people before and PWG is really a wrestling oasis and that's why it's so great, it's this little outlier, this blip on the map, they don't run ippvs, they aren't leaving reseda, I truly feel like they are this group of guys that just want to run 8-12 fun shows a year that they'll enjoy while also working regular jobs, it's not about making the most money possible, it's just about having some fun wrestling shows

And another thing about reseda is that by almost all accounts the boys love it, Steen talked about it every single Kevin Steen show how special the building is, I think it's growing to be an attraction among the boys who want to work that building, and they have a good relationship with the management, so why fuck up a good thing so that maybe you squeeze an extra 100 people or something in there, and also I would guess if they did run another building demand for tickets wouldn't be as high because that reseda building is a destination for fans too

Just watched Don't Sweat The Technique, a few thoughts:

- Tag title match, Cage/Busick and ACH/Ciampa were solid, nothing spectacular, but worth their time. Still a huge mark for Brian Cage.

- Lee/Bailey was great as was the AirGun/Monster Mafia match. Ethan Page is such an awesome heel and should be a bigger name on the indy circuit. The dude is great. Alexander is pretty good too.

- Everett/Ricochet was kinda disappointing. It was a cool FLPZ match, but really nothing else. Everett was still kinda sloppy after his injury. And please, do not EVER try that double moonsault again.

-End/Hero was an awesome slugfest. Stiff as hell. Should probably try to catch some britwrestling to see more of End. Hero is still probably the best overall guy in the indies.

- And somehow Roddy/Sabre was even better. Roddy has been on fire since last summer and Sabre was just as good as at BOLA. The match goes on my top 5 matches of this year thus far (behind Ishii/Honma, Rumble Triple Threat and Grave Consequences).

Overall, another good PWG show. DDT4 was last weekend and should be shipping soonish.

PWG has announced the first two participants for BOLA: Will Ospreay and Marty Scrull. Both big names from the British independent scene and especially Progress Wrestling.

For Threemendous IV some big names are making their returns: The American Wolves, Jack Evans, AKIRA TOZAWA and the debuting ANGELICO. I'm hyped already.

Tozawa is a really cool addition.

All I know about him is that after sitting in the same section as him at a Lucha Underground taping and talking with him a bit is that he smells REALLY bad.
