Anderson is like, the Ryan Leaf of wrestling. 2006 the guy was being groomed to be one of THE guys in WWE. 10 years later he's working indies and isn't even seen as an asset to a company like TNA that's desperate for talent.

Doesn't he realize you have to be a draw in order to get away with being a dick backstage?

Re: An Asshole No Longer With TNA
Good riddance.
Anderson has been an absolute hindrance to TNA ever since he came in.
He hasn't drawn in ANY new fans, and instead has been seen as the epitome of a WWE castoff.
His matches have been poor, as have his promos (which are supposed to be his strong suit). The only time he ever felt like he put in a legitimate effort is when he was going through contract negotiations in 2013 and had a feud with Bully Ray during the fallout of Aces & Eights.
If that other rumor is to believed, being under the influence during a match is just reckless. Yes, Jeff Hardy did it, but that doesn't excuse anybody doing it, especially because of how awful that occurrence was. Plus, the rumor is he was non-compliant with getting treatment, so you can't blame TNA for cutting ties with him.

Apparently they sent him out to wrestle while he was drugged up. TNA with those really lenient drug policies gets mad, especially when they send him out there while still intoxicated.
And in terms of Anderson himself, it's amazing who the internet will latch onto in their hatred of the current main eventers.

To be fair, it seems like TNA didn't know he was intoxicated until AFTER the match.GenericMartini wrote:Apparently they sent him out to wrestle while he was drugged up. TNA with those really lenient drug policies gets mad, especially when they send him out there while still intoxicated.

The story from Pro Wrestling Sheet is that he was ordered to take a drug test after his match with Eric Young (that was so bad it had to be removed from the episode it was supposed to air on), and that's when they found out he was under the influence.

While I was shaking my head at it, I do sadly recall Anderson and his asshole being a bit over with the TNA crowds especially the first year or 2 he was in the company.
TNA as a whole has failed at drawing new fans/replacing fans that gave up on their product in a few years now before that Anderson seem like he had at least a few people buying his merchandise. That being said maybe if TNA could have kept him from turning every 6 months he could have did more for TNA.
Having gone back to look at the results.. Anderson/Young happened close to 2 hours into that day's taping...

Edit
I just saw this day old wrestlezone report..
According to a TNA source, Anderson failed the drug test after he tested positive for pills for which he did not have a prescription. The source added Anderson’s behavior seemed odd during the day leading up to the match, and illegal pills were the cause of the drug test failure.
We were also told the match Anderson had with Young had to be cut short because Anderson was described as looking “very bad in the ring”, and Eric Young was reportedly furious with TNA management after the bout, to the point he could be heard yelling at officials to do something about the situation.

Dear God, Ken Anderson is sloppy and injures people when he's sober. Imagine Eric Young being in there with an inebriated Anderson. Fucking end this company now before someone dies.
