WWE injuries Empty Cesaro Undergoes Surgery, Out 4 to 6 Months

Post by RFSKannon Mon Nov 23, 2015 4:12 pm

    courtesy PWInsider

By Mike Johnson on 2015-11-23 15:35:52

WWE star Cesaro has torn his left rotator cuff, WWE confirmed today via an interview with the Swiss star on their website.

Cesaro noted in the interview that it had been a nagging injury and he went to get an MRI with the intentions of finding out how he could rehab it, only to learn that doctors discovered a torn tendon and another partially torn.

Cesaro will have surgery today and is expected back in 4-6 months, which means he too will likely join Randy Orton and Seth Rollins missing Wrestlemania 32 this April.

But who's going to be underutilized in the Pre-Show at WM?

But seriously this WM looks to be worse than WM13 when it comes to overhauling the planned card.

Maybe we'll get Sid vs. Taker II

So with so many guys out due to injury, WHY are they keeping guys like Finn Balor in NXT?

What are they waiting for? Isn't the purpose of NXT to groom new stars for the WWE main roster?

Now is when they could use new blood to help fill the void of everybody who's out for extended periods of time.

Who needs new guys? Everyone knows the roster attained perfection with the additions of Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus. It's a scientific fact.

"BRO! BRO! Lets get Del Rio back and put him in a stable with Zeb and then have him feud with Jack Swagger! Our audience will love that, especially the hispanics!"

He tweeted : Rather upside down start to 2016 as tomorrow I will head to Birmingham for shoulder surgery. Life's full of set backs but #nevergiveup

Former WWE Champion John Cena will have shoulder surgery and will miss this year's Wrestlemania according to a members-only report by PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

The injury is believed to be a rotator cuff injury, putting Cena out of action for 6-9 months.

The 38-year-old Cena's injury is just the latest in a string of injuries to top WWE stars (Seth Rollins, Randy Orton) and mid-level talents like Cesaro in recent months, thinning out the roster and leaving WWE to focus on talents like WWE Champion Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Dean Ambrose, The New Day, and Kevin Owens to help carry things. Brock Lesnar returns this Monday on RAW and Chris Jericho just returned Monday to help add some part-time depth.

Cena just returned from a short absence off TV as he was filming a reality series for FOX. He was expected to continue his feud with U.S. Champion Alberto Del Rio.

We'll add more details on this story as we get it and will discuss it more on tonight's Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave and Bryan.

Time to get creative and work at making a ton of new sta...oh who am I kidding? They'll just back up the money truck for more part timers like Jericho, RVD and the like and paper over the cracks while Roman carries the flag.

With the addition of John Cena none of the wrestlers that walked out Champions from last years WrestleMania are medically cleared for this year.

WWE is pretty much screwed for Mania.

If The Rock can actually work a match at the show, like his announcement has been teasing (i.e. breaking records and what not), then it's got to be Rock vs. Brock. That's the only way they set an attendance record at Cowboys Stadium with the roster that they have left.

The rest of the show is a crapshoot, but it's manageable. Roman vs. HHH is essentially a given, but Taker seems to be left without a top match now due to Cena's injury. Perhaps a match with Dean Ambrose would be the best option at the moment.

it'd never happen, but if WWE is seriously stuck, Vince should just open his chequebook and Pay CM Punk whatever it takes to come back as his stooge for Mania and main event against Roman. I mean, it'll NEVER happen but think of the heat that would get if Punk came out and screwed Roman at the Rumble

People would cheer the fuck out of Punk if he came back and screwed Roman at the Royal Rumble.

Vince must have Roman encased in bubble wrap at all times when he's not in public. "You're gonna be in that main event, dammit! Someone get me more bubble wrap!"
