Rifftrax almost broke my 360. It wouldn't boot and it had 4 red rings. I freaked for a second then realized 3 is the bad rings.
Turns out my old Component/Composite combo cable for 360 just crapped out. Something went terribly wrong switching from HD to SD back to HD again.
Luckily I had a 360 VGA cable laying around and that fixed everything (and no, my old ass 360 doesn't support HDMI).

Those early models (ie mine) definitely seem ancient, even just compared to the 360 slim.

The first 360 I purchased I got when Oblivion was released. I can't tell you whether or not it had HDMI as I still played off a standard definition TV. The one I bought my freshman year of college in 2008 had HDMI though.

I have one of the xboxes that they released that had no hard drive, like I had to buy memory like a ps2. i forget what they were called, but it has been great for the past couple years. I think it was like the xbox play or arcade or something.
