    WWE 2K15 Empty WWE 2K15

Anybody have it? I'm thinking about buying it for ps4, but I would only really buy it for my career mode. I've read some pretty bad reviews, so I'm iffy.

I'm only a few matches into my career, but it seems VERY basic. On NXT i literally just won a singles match every week then got a text message from william regal telling me i'm awesome. Hopefully once you're on SD on Raw it gets more interesting, but if this is the main reason you're getting the game I can't really recommend it.

I got the Xbox 360 version back when it came out a few weeks ago. It's essentially a re-issue of WWE 2K14 with an updated roster and different features. However, they took out things like custom soundtracks & entrance themes (the justification is because the next-gen consoles don't support it).

You don't even get a phone, text blurbs just kinda show up. This is how bare bones we're talking.

That said, I've only had the game a little over 24 hours, but I actually like how it plays. They slowed it down a lot, but the way the animation flows together and how the match is paced, you actually feel like you have control for once. A lot of people complain that its sluggish, and in a way it is, but the control makes sense and it doesn't feel broken like say, 2k15 on xbox 360.

But yea, all the other negative stuff you've read about the game is true: features have been stripped, only 25 create a wrestler slots, less match types, and the stuff they added (career mode, the texture uploader thing) are just kind of "meh".

It's a pretty typical early release on a new system. Looks great, plays alright, but all the bells and whistles we got used to on the last generation are either not in the game yet, or aren't as good.
