10 Years ago today, "TNA iMPACT!" on Fox Sports Net aired for the very first time.

They tried too hard to outgrow their niche

Wow... they accomplished a lot of regress in 10 years. It is almost impressive.

Jesus 10 years. What happened?

I can remember how excited I was for this debut, to the point where I made sure my mother would be able to record it if I wasn't going to be home in time. Way to piss away all that enthusiasm and good faith, TNA.

Rushed home from school to see it and recorded it, was so hyped for Victory Road and the other early monthly PPVs.

Had no problem listing AJ Styles, AMW, Shazarian and Kid Kash among my favorite wrestlers and TNA as my favorite (yet flawed) company.

Now I couldnt be bothered to watch it even though it's on at the perfect time and day.

Story time, so my high school was next to a cemetery. And on that other side of the cemetery was my neighborhood. I would usually take the Subway home and walk a little bit instead of walking through the cemetery like other kids because I was always creeped out by them. Not a fan of death. Anyway the fastest way home is through the cemetery so the debut of Impact I got out at like 2:30, RAN my ass home through said cemetery and watched that glorious hour of television.

I thought this was so huge, I was so excited.

Now I hate TNA. How far they have come.

I guess tna reminds me of 2006 and Planet Jarrett. I also really hated AMW and basically just watched TNA cuz raven. (I was kinda emo, judge me, whatever) and now I guess I watch it because I like car crashes.

How could anyone hate AMW?

They were bad. That's how.

AMW was very bland, and TNA teased them breaking up about once every 3 months for what 10 years?

I had a lot of time for AMW. I thought they put together a very nice little run in TNA. TNA did tease them splitting a lot from what I remember, then they bet on the wrong horse from that group, but oh well. They were fun and put on some really good matches.

They were good in ring, but especially toward the end they got the " no one gets along in tna" treatment

Well that is more TNA than AMW.

I really judge pretty heavily on rewatchability and AMW has that for me.

this whole thing is sort of making me nostalgic for TNA. I have some of their original best of DVDs... maybe I will take a stroll down memory lane tonight.

No their first couple weeks as a team in TNA, they teased them breaking up.

yeah but that was before the characters were tightly knit.

they started out as rivals and were put together as a makeshift tag team that just happened to be successful.
