It really is crazy to think how popular he got, the reactions he was getting and whatnot. He won the US Title and then lost it on Raw like a couple weeks later for no reason.
He should be great on the indies when he hits. Would love to see him in PWG with Trent.

Look here's the deal
I don't think WWE squandered anything with him in reality, they gave him the US title and gave him a mini push as part of the main event story line with John Cena, now yes he was little more than a punching bag in that angle, but the fact is he sucked in that angle, every time he was on screen was cringe worthy, now maybe he could have had a longer run as US champ and settled into more of a Kofi role, but he isn't the wrestler Kofi is either, so I don't know, I feel his momentum had a short shelf life because once you take him away from his original youtube show he just wasn't that great
