My heart says Bryan, but my bitter, cynical brain is with Swarley on the Cena pick.

Re: Royal Rumble Discussion Thread
HHH and the "Best for business" crew should have their hands all over the Rumble and #of participants. My dream Rumble
#1 should be Daniel Bryan
#2 CM Punk
#3 Ziggler (a pipe dream)
(all three men last with great spots and even some Bryan and Punk cooperation (Ziggler is a pipe dreram here but its my dream!) until)
#27 John Cena
HHH sends in the next participant
#28... 'Santa Hopscotch Igloo Eskimo Llama Dingo"
The Shield comes in at 28-30 as a unit
Some dissention in the Shield, but they work together enough to send out Cena (triple powerbomb while others are tired and off to the side or something, then they fight each other)
Until the last men are Punk, Bryan, Reigns
Team Work eliminates Reigns, working together
10+ minutes of just Punk vs Bryan
Eventually the winner is Daniel Bryan after several finishers between each Best in the World
Hey, I can dream!

Re: Royal Rumble Discussion Thread
I tend to think Cena is going to take part in some sort of super-match, likely with Taker. He might also be asked to keep Hogan alive for one more match.
I kind of buy the hype that Punk is the odds on favorite to win, but the timing seems almost too ripe for Dragon to win the Rumble and finally win the title at the big one. That is the kind of long ball it feels like the E is playing, despite all the rumors to the contrary.
In my wildest dreams Punk wins the title at the Rumble or CHamber and Punk vs Dragon tears the house down at Wrestlemania with a match that no one on that roster can follow.

Punk/Bryan for the WWE World Title ending the show would be all kinds of amazing. But I can't see them doing it this year. Even though this show might have Hogan paired with Cena and Taker/Brock. I really love this idea though.

I am going to mania this year so I am praying for it. I think the chances are less than 5%, but I am praying to every god and goddess I can think of just incase.

Re: Royal Rumble Discussion Thread
This is a little ranty, but it kinda goes back to the conversation. i really think the "Authority" needs a twist. I thought Cena would be a perfect turn for them (and still would be), but we know that isn't going to happen. Punk would also make a great turn, but he doesn't physically fit the bill. Punk is not above turning on the fans and doing whatever it takes to be a heel though.
In all I see Punk as the most diverse going into the road to wrestlemania. If they could tempt HBK back for one more match that would be amazing. He could just be Punk all the way to a match with Orton. He could turn heel and turn on Dragon. He could pester HHH into a street fight. I think whatever they decide to do with Punk will determine a lot of what happens at Mania.

I'm going to say Bryan will win the Royal Rumble.
But its way too early to pick.

At this point, I'd say that makes the most sense and the ultimate way for him to stick it to the authority.
Personally, I'm burned out on him. But clearly by weekly crowd reactions I'm in the minority.

I'm going to ignore the fact that Indy said he was burnt out by Daniel Bryan and show you this hilarious commercial for the Rumble.

Rightfully so. You'll be in the majority when he main events WrestleMania this year after winning the Royal Rumble.
