Hendo vs. Shogun 2 was one hell of a rematch. Even though he ended up losing, Shogun was dominating Hendo for most of the fight. He just got caught with one hell of a right hand.

Credit to Hendo for landing that devastating punch. However, I wouldn't mind seeing him go out on a very high note. Yeah, he won in incredible fashion, but he was getting beat up pretty bad until the KO. Plus, he was coming off of 3 straight losses, albeit against top level competition. He won't be able to use TRT anymore, so I can't imagine he will be able to have much prolonged success.

The rest of the card was mostly very exciting. There was a lot of finishes (Dolloway, Thiago Santos, and Pepey scoring incredible KOs), plus that very entertaining comeback from Fabio Maldonado.

This has been the best UFC card of the year so far.

Yeah, this was a really entertaining card. Hendo showed a ton of heart in making the comeback but did not look good for most of the fight. He doesn't seem like he is ready to retire though. Have to feel bad for Shogun as he was so close to avenging his loss only to get caught.

That flying knee from Pepey was perfect and liver body shot from Santos was phenomenal.
